Olsommer to Host Concealed Carry Seminar in Wayne County

May 11, 2026

HARRISBURG – State Rep. Jeff Olsommer (R-Pike/Wayne) will be hosting a concealed carry seminar to better inform area gun owners regarding their rights under state law.

The Wayne County Concealed Carry Seminar will take place on Thursday, May 28, from 6-8 p.m., at the Lakeville Volunteer Fire Company, 10 Daniels Road, in Lakeville. Presenters will be Wayne County District Attorney A.G. Howell and Wayne County Sheriff Chris Rosler.

“This seminar gives residents the opportunity to become informed and educated, as well as remain aware of their rights as gun owners,” Olsommer said. “Attendees will be able to learn exactly what their rights are under Pennsylvania law and ask any questions they may have about them.”

The seminar will feature information about the state’s firearms laws and the Castle Doctrine, which allows a homeowner to use deadly force, if necessary, when threatened by an armed intruder; how to obtain a permit to carry concealed weapon; and other valuable information regarding the state’s gun laws.

Registration is required and can be made by going online at RepOlsommer.com/events. Seating is limited.
