Olsommer to Host Outdoor Sport Expo on March 21

HAWLEY – In his continuing effort to promote the many outdoor recreational activities available in the 139th Legislative District to area residents, Rep. Jeff Olsommer (R-Pike/Wayne) will be hosting an Outdoor Sport Expo later this month.

The free event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 21, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at the Westfall Township Volunteer Fire Department, 101 Mountain Ave., in Matamoras. More than 25 vendors are scheduled to attend, including local businesses and state agencies such as the PA Fish and Boat and Game commissions.  

“As the weather gets warmer, individuals and families are making plans to head outdoors and experience our beautiful communities,” Olsommer said. “There are so many recreational options in this region, and this expo is a great way to learn more about them.”

The 139th Legislative District is comprised of parts of Pike and Wayne counties, consisting of the townships of Blooming Grove, Dingman, Greene, Lackawaxen, Milford, Palmyra (Pike), Shohola, Westfall, Cherry Ridge, Dreher, Lake, Lehigh, Paupack, Palmyra (Wayne), Salem, South Canaan and Sterling, and the boroughs of Matamoras, Milford and Hawley.
